Description
This module is an introduction to
Process Mapping which enables a team to identify improvement opportunities. A
process which is a sequence of activities connected together to achieve an
outcome, is depicted as a map, which allows everyone to have the same view of
the process.
The module demonstrates how to convert
an everyday activity like making breakfast into a process map.
Process Mapping is one of the tools of a
Quality Improvement system in healthcare, industry, hospitality, and in many
other sectors, and this module is one of the Quality Improvement modules
offered by ISMP Canada.
